Project:

The project is to repair/replace concrete areas of the taxiway due to cracks and spalls, resulting from the extreme and heavy usage. The approximate scope included: 300m of Existing caulked joint repairs, 250m of New crack repairs, 28sqm of Partial-depth spall repair, 158sqm of Partial-depth spall at joints repair and 375sqm of Full-depth repairs.

Scope of Works:

• Test/Trial Patch or Section 

• Cleaning of Cracks/Spalls/Joints 

• Crack Repairs

  o  Sawing the concrete

  o  Cleaning the sawn crack and surrounding areas
  o  Sealing the crack

• Spall Repair 
  o    Sawing and removing the concrete
  o    Preparation of sub-base
  o    Clean the sawn spalls areas
  o    Rebar reinforcement and installing dowels
  o    Placing of patch material
  o    Filling of joints
  o    Curing

• Clear site of all debris and signage.
